Becoming an AHA BLS Instructor through Ready Set Rescue is a streamlined and supportive process. Here’s what’s required:

You must have a current, valid AHA BLS Provider certification. If not, we can help you complete this first.

This is an online, self-paced course provided by the AHA and must be completed before your instructor training day.

We provide onsite, in-person instructor training at your facility or organization. During this session, you’ll learn:

• How to deliver AHA curriculum and administer skills testing
   
• AHA program administration and compliance
   
• Instructor best practices and teaching techniques
   

Following your instructor course, you’ll be required to be monitored teaching your first BLS course. We’ll schedule this with you and provide feedback and support to help you succeed.
